For Better Or For Worse by: S.M. Stryker

This is the third book in a series and follows Nash and Natashas story. So as not to give everything away via this review lets just say this is about a love that while not over was lost. The question you must ask yourself while reading this book is whether they will find the love again or not. This story will take you through what happened between Nash and Natasha. This book does revisit a lot of scenes from the prior books and therefore you can in my opinion get away with reading this book without reading the first two and not feel lost. As a reader who has read both the first two books, had I forgotten the story lines from them it was nice to have the scene repeated for my own memory however I read them all fairly close together and so it was all fresh in my mind and parts of it felt like I was reading the same story over minus some of the details that would have been present in the first two because those were following more closely the other individuals they were about. Aside from that which can be both a pro and a con for this story, the story itself was great and I absolutely loved it just as I have all other books by this author. I also can't wait for the next story and  I do recommend you read them all as well.

Falling Into You by: S.M. Stryker

I had the pleasure of reading the original version Stolen Innocence. Below is my review from that copy. I have edited the review to remove irrelevant pieces from the beginning but aside from that this review still fits as I have also read this version and love it just as much. 

The thing I loved most about this book is that it didn't just give you a story line, get to the biggest parts of what happened and then leave it there. This book had a good solid beginning middle and end. No cliff hanger. Even other books with no cliff hanger don't leave you so satisfied. Without giving away the details, the basics of this story, a young girl experiences some terrible things and sets out to make something of her life in relation to that as soon as she is old enough. As most know, one bad experience is never the end, the difference is how you deal with each bad experience and who you have with you to help you through. In this story the girl Parker happens to accidentally find a young man name Ian and they seem really taken with each other. But like with any bad experience it's hard to escape your demons and there is the possibility that the person you find can't deal with your demons and who would want them to. In this story we follow her experiences with and without Ian and see whether or not she overcomes all the obstacles placed in her way. It's a very great written story and a great read. I highly recommend.

Wishes On Falling Stars by: S.M. Stryker

This is a great short story. Jumps into the details and pulls at your heart strings from the beginning. Basically you have two people that in my opinion are meant for each other but for reasons I won't list here since you should read the book, they are not together. She marries and get pregnant and her husband is just not a nice person. Not who she thought he was or hoped he was. But she goes on a trip and things start to change. For more details read the book. I do recommend it. I think it has just the right amount of everything in it.

WINK by S.M. Stryker

I personally loved this short story. First of all because it's a short story and jumps right into the story with just the right amount of details. But also because of the content of the story itself. It's a sweet story of a girl with an issue that arises and a stranger who helps her. The twist to me is that the stranger is actually also a client but she doesn't know this. But there's more to it than that however I'm not good with writing reviews without giving the details and I really think you should just read the book. I do not think you would be disappointed, unless you are looking for a long drawn out story.

Then There Was You By. S.M. Stryker

So I thought I loved the first book and then I read this one. I loved this one even more than book one. One thing I also loved about this book was all the little quotes at the beginning of chapters.  I have a thing for good quotes personally. But as for the content of the story itself. Lets just say I was on my seat during the whole thing. This one didn't bring as many tears to my eyes but the story behind the main characters was very interesting. This book also gives more details about one of the main characters in the first book. This book also had so much more action in it too. It's definitely a love story but there is so much suspense and action thrown in too. I honestly could read this book a second time and I hardly ever read a book twice. And I'm most definitely excited to read the next one. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good love story with some suspense and action thrown in too. But I won't say anything else so as not to spoil the book because I'm not very good at writing reviews.

Whispers In The Wind By S.M. Stryker

This book from the very beginning grabs your attention and really pulls at your heart strings. It's a love story with some heartache and mystery/suspense all included.  I found myself having to stop reading to keep from having tears streaming down my face at work. And then there were parts where I just couldn't put it down because of the anticipation of what was next. I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good love story.

The Earls Inconvenient Wife by Ruth Ann Nordin

OK so this review is going to be super short as time is short and I am trying to read as much as  I can in a short amount of time. But this book is basically about 2 people thrown into a predicament that neither can get out of. This book follows their journey to finding each other after the situation or not finding each other. I guess you'll have to read to find that out. I do highly recommend this book as I thought it was very well written and a very good story.

Return of The Aliens by Ruth Ann Nordin

Return of the Aliens definitely caught me by surprise. I'm not going to lie, I didn't even read the description of what the book was about so I was definitely surprised by the story but enjoyed it so much. And it is a definite recommend. Now for the story we have Aliens/Demons and Angels with God. This story is literally the battle between Demons and Angels. Everyone knows Demons want to take over the earth and try everything they can to do so. This story follows a fight between the two. You have people vanishing and others not knowing where they went or if they are even still alive. You have Aliens and what people call the Greys. People don't like the Greys but feel the Aliens are safe when in reality they are working with the Greys all along. One earth you have people following the Aliens and people who refuse the Aliens, Super people and the Aliens themselves and all of them are fighting. Now I don't want to give away the details of the story so I won't touch on the main characters but I love how the earth in the end is portrayed as a paradise really. At least that's how I see it. But most importantly it's portrayed as the bible has it with people living on earth with all evil removed. Yes I've just given away the ending but what can I say, I loved the book and everything about it.

The Almost Wives Club: Kate by Nancy Warren

Book 1 of 5

Kate and Ted are two from a similar background but yet different and now they are set to marry. But then Nick comes into the picture who is an old college buddy of Teds and things start to take their own turn in changing the events. Thanks to Nick, Kate is an almost wife of Ted but aside from what he was hired to do, there are many more reasons in which Kate really shouldn't marry Ted. Not only that but her now cursed dress, how is she to get married to Ted. So Kate goes on her own little adventure...or is she just running away from the problem? Overall it was a well written story and I very much enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

I never read what this book was about, I simply picked it up because it was by a recommended Author and I liked the cover and name. I didn't think too much about the name of the book in terms of what it would be about but it definitely made sense. Every Rose (Take a Chance Book 4) by Nancy Warren

I especially loved this story. You've got two people who are complete opposites yet feel the same way about what type of person they date. Throughout the story you can feel there is an attraction between the two but they have rules, they don't date doctors. Throughout the story events occur that cause the two to work more closely together. Will they forget their rules and see where things go or will the continue to fight nature and their feelings for one another. I'm not good with these reviews but I do believe in sharing the fact that I thought it was a great story and worth the read. I enjoyed the entire story and definitely recommend.

The Crane Series by Nancy Warren

The Crane Series:

Book 1 Sun Kissed is all about Jennifer Talbot and Cameron Crane. Cameron Crane is from Australia and very into surfing as are his many employees. He's also very get what I want when I want, did not complete school and now owns his own business for Crane Surfboards. Jennifer's job is to come in from the States and help get him set up to launch sales in California and be successful. Jennifer of course is engaged to be married to a Mark Forsythe but since going to Australia has questioned their relationship with Mark and when she asks him, the response she gets is in my opinion what ultimately pushes her over the edge realizing maybe it's just not right. Jennifer is also out to find the perfect model for the campaign and thinks she has found the perfect candidate in Steve Jackson. Overall I think this is a great story. I enjoyed it and now would love to see Australia in person.

Book 2 Sea Kissed is all about Lise Atwater who can't seem to ever take a break from work and stresses herself to the max not enjoying life and about the great Steve Jackson who Jennifer believes is the perfect model for Crane Surfboards. When Steve and Lise first meet the first impression are a bit off but those first impressions do trigger the two to hang out and get to know each better and ultimately help each other to be successful at their jobs. Without Lise, Steve wouldn't be able to play his part for the ads because he's never acted or modeled before and without Steve, Lise would still be a bundle of nerves and knots. The two could not have been better paired for each other in getting this campaign going. But will it last? I mean doesn't Steve need to return to Australia sometime? Especially since he's told family and friends he just went on a short vacation. I personally really enjoyed this book as well. It moves right along with the story line from book one in what's going on and is just a perfect love story.

Book 3 Star Kissed is all about Cameron Cranes half sister Bronwyn Spencer and Jennifer Talbots ex Mark Forsyth. In this story we have another great love story of perfect matches however the journey there is denial. Mark still loves Jennifer as Jennifer loves him but they don't realize how over it is and how perfect it was until they confront each other after Mark has been with Bronwyn and fallen in love but Mark may have messed up his chances with Bronwyn by his reaction when he found out she is Cameron's half sister. Will they have their happily ever after? Definitely worth the read to find out.

My Time in the Affair by Stylo Fantome

Have you ever been in a relationship and felt it was all wrong? Or at least that while you love the person, you're not in love and the relationship just isn't what it should be? Do you try to fix the relationship first? Do you tell them it's over? Do you do something drastic then tell them? How do you handle something like this? 

In this particular story we follow Mischa who just happens to be dealing with this very thing. She's tried to fix it, tried talking to Mike, tried getting through to him that something just isn't right in their relationship and no matter what she does...he just does not listen, does not see it and ultimately continues to push her away. 

So in this story following Mischa, we live the pain, the heartache, the love, all the emotions she goes through, that anyone would go through in such a situation. We follow her on her business trip and her plan to cheat on her husband Mike. But as we all know...plans don't always go as planned. Things can change and for Mischa, change they did. What will happen to Mischa on her journey and what will be the end result!

This story is captivating from the very start. It's beautifully written. It's something that some people can even relate to whether they choose the same route as Mischa or another. I personally could empathize with Mischa and was as shocked as she was about a few of the events that occur. I highly recommend this story to anyone looking for a good book. Ultimately I feel this is a love story but more than that. It's a journey.

Midnight Shimmer (Toni Diamon Mysteries #3) by Nancy Warren

Book three had me wanting to take a cruise. This story takes place on a cruise they have won from selling Lady Bianca Cosmetics. During a cruise you wouldn't expect anything particular to take place however in the case of Toni Diamond, it seems trouble follows her and she just has to be in the middle finding out the answer. In this particular story you have multiple key characters in which you wouldn't initially think were related in any way however are very much related to each other. And after a virus causes many passengers to become sick, you have the perfect cover for committing a crime and not being suspected. So of course a crime does indeed take place and while Toni shouldn't get involved she just always happens to be in the right place at the right time and of course the one to put the pieces together. But in this story you start to think this might just be the end for her and she actually tried to stay out of it. And to find out if she actually saves the day or meets her fate, you can pick up your own copy to read.

Book two of the Toni Diamond series is yet another adventure. In this book, Toni's ex husband comes around for none other than money and of course takes this time to "get to know his daughter".  So, Toni's daughter Tiffany has never met her father and like all children they do wonder about their father from time to time and so when she gets a call from her father she is all for taking a trip to Las Vegas without her moms knowing. Of course like all good mothers she Toni finds out and books a trip out there to allow her daughter space but also protect her. Good thing Toni showed up because of course yet again there is another murder investigation and it just happens to involve the people in Toni's life. Regardless of her feelings for her ex husband she of course chooses to help out for the sake of her daughter, plus who can keep there nose out of doing a little detective work of their own. We all know that sometimes we do better than the police. In the end all these work out but definitely didn't see coming who the murderer is. And in this unplanned trip Tiffany gets to know her father.

Frosted Shadow (Toni Diamond Mysteries #1) by Nancy Warren

Book 1 of the Toni Diamond Mystery Series starts out with the Lady Bianca Cosmetics Convention. We learn early on in the book that Toni and another Rep are in tight competition. During the course of the event getting started there is a murder in which everyone seems to think is related to the Lady Bianca Cosmetic Line and of course Toni's eye for detail quickly gets her involved. Throughout the book you are trying to figure out who the killer is and why. And of course Toni would be right in the middle of the drama whether she liked it or not. When reading the book I had several people I thought could possibly be the killer and while the real killer wasn't who I thought it would be, I wasn't surprised because it made perfect since. 

The entire story is very well written and I loved reading it and finding out what happens next however when I first started the story I did have a hard time getting going but that's really because I'm just not big into cosmetics myself but the story quickly got interesting and I couldn't put the book down. Towards the end there are a few scenes you may not want younger audiences reading but otherwise the story was great and I'm excited to be starting #2.

Blueprint for a Kiss (Take a Chance Book 3) by Nancy Warren

Book three of the Take a Chance Series features Prescott Chance. Prescott is a very successful architect who takes peace in the fact that his life is very simple and calm. He has but does not use electronic devices and likes to become one with nature when preparing for his next design. Prescott prefers the quiet life though he came from a very chaotic family. 

Holly is the complete opposite of Prescott and is determined to get her a position within the company of a very successful man who is not too nice. Holly cannot go through her day without having some electronic device in use. When her boss decides thanks to his wife that he must have a Prescott Chance home, Holly is given the task of making Prescott say yes after already having said no. 

Holly and Prescott meet and due to her determination and just something about her, Prescott agrees to work with her if she can find the right home within 5 sites. So Holly naturally sets out on a mission only to entangle her life into the life of Prescott Chance despite the fact that they are complete opposites. 

This book was one of my favorites. Watching Holly and Prescott fall in love and not even realize it knowing they are so different and nothing like what they would normally date but yet something is just so right. It's a great story that follows their journey of ups and downs including their finding themselves within the lives they have chosen to live. 

Highly recommended read but do keep in mind there is some sexual content throughout the book.

Crazy Ride (A Changing Gears Novel) by Nancy Warren

I absolutely loved this book. Of the three books in the series I think I loved this one the most. It's about two main characters Joe and Emily set in a small peaceful town full of many people who are to a lot of the world considered crazy but really they are just unique. 

Joe is a big business man who just doesn't know how to slow down and enjoy life like most people these days and of course is always on a computer or tablet or even his cell phone. 

Emily is a more laid back person who runs a cozy little B&B which Joe just happens to get to stay in.

From the moment Joe Arrives you can tell there is a reaction or maybe connection between Joe and Emily though at first they don't even realize it. Joe is here on business and Emilys B&B is the best and only place in town to stay. 

The very unique people of the town discover the exact business nature of Joes staying there and decide to try to stop him in the most crazy of ways. Of course if it were my town and he was there to do the particular business he is there for, I'd feel the same way. 

The entire story is mostly geared around Joe and Emily and what happens between them but very much involves the entire town throughout the book. I definitely recommend reading this book to find out exactly what happens though I wouldn't recommend for anyone who doesn't like sex scenes. They are not too graphic but it's all in preference and if I didn't want to read about it, I'd appreciate knowing.

Of River and Raynn - The Catalyst by Rebecca Ethington

Absolutely Amazing! I have been following the live journals on http://riverandraynn.com/ and just reading the entries has kept me so intrigued at what's going to happen next. Are they going to find each other when they are already so close? 

Well, reading the story that follows, WOW! It definitely through me for a loop. Each chapter I began I learned something else about the over all story that just kept me reading to find out what was going to happen next. This is one of those books that you really have a hard time putting down even though we must at times. I loved it the whole way through and highly recommend it to others however I would suggest checking out the website first because there is so much on the site in the journals that will just keep you captivated and really help you understand the story to come.

Without giving the any of the story away I did want to mention that the way in which River and Raynn first come into contact with each other is not what you expect. There is a twist to the story that's not even really begun to be hinted at on the journals that might just surprise you. I really think anyone who loves to read will very much enjoy this book just as I have. It is an amazing piece of work by this author. You will not be disappointed.
